Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from a multiethnic background. Her parents are Malaysian as well as the Sri Lankan. The father of Jacqueline is Elroy Fernandez hails from Sri Lanka. Her brothers are younger and one older sister. In 2006 she was named Miss Sri Lanka. Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2006 in March 2006. She also participated in Miss Universe 2006. She entered television after winning an award for the Miss Sri Lanka title. Her show, Lanka Business Report, covers Sri Lankan business. Padukone was the daughter and badminton world champion Prakash Padukone. Padukone grew as a child in Bangalore, but she is a native of Copenhagen. When she was a teen, Padukone was a participant in numerous championships for national badminton. However, she resigned from her passion for the game when she decided to become a fashion model. Padukone comes from Mangalore and her mother language is Konkani. Padukone is located within the Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Prakash Padukone was a badminton legend before retiring in the 80s. She has a mother who runs a travel agent, is also from the village.
